This is a great vintage Asian lacquer ware powder box. I believe it was made in the mid century era, between the 1940s and 1960s. The box measures about 3 1/2" tall with a 4 5/8" lid diameter. The colors are beautiful, burnt orange & cream on the outside and black on the inside. There is a fan pattern on the lid and a little black knob with a silk tassel. The box is in good condition, just some tiny chips in the lacquer at the edge of the lid. A sweet, stylish powder box for your dressing table!
