This a beautiful basket made by the Tarahumara people from the Copper Canyon area of Mexico. Their technique of twill weaving with Pine needles and Palm leaf is extremely intricate and beautiful! The basket is double-walled, twill weave and measures 4" tall x 5 1/4" at the widest diameter. It is in excellent condition, no damage! This is a lovely basket!
