These are 2 exquisitely carved Bull's Mouth or Helmet Conch shell. They portray Artemis or Diana and are carved in beautiful detail, one with flowing curls and one in a helmet. They are carved using the natural bumps on the shell to create breasts. I'm not sure how old these are, definitely antique, probably Edwardian and made in Italy. Each shell measures about 5 1/4" long x 4 1/4" wide. They are sold separately, $225.00 each so let me know which one you would like.
