This is a great compact by Coty New York. It is a bit tarnished and has nothing inside, no mirror, but is still pretty. The powder puffs on top was a design for Coty by Rene Lalique in the 1930s. The bottom says: "LOOSPREST" POWDER / "AIR-SPUN" / COTY / NEW YORK / L'ORIGAN RACHEL 1. Clasp still works and the compact measures 2 3/4" in diameter.
