This is a beautiful old Japanese Papier Mache powder box. It is in good worn condition, nice vintage patina. The box is dark gold with deer running through trees. It has a slightly domed top and measures 1 3/4" tall x 4 7/8" in diameter and the bottom marks in red read: ALCOHOL PROOF / MADE IN JAPAN. There is a lot of chipping at the edges so please study the photos carefully.
